About
I have been raising andalusians for over a decade. Since my first encounter with an andalusian horse at a horse show, I’ve been fascinated with their elegance and presence. My immediate love and appreciation for the horse ignited the desire to have andalusians as part of my family.
Within the year I purchased a horse ranch in the California valley and slowly began to build my extended family of andalusians of various ages and backgrounds, which include, Bocado, Urquijo, Yeguada Militar and Cardenas. Breeding andalusians has proven to be a challenge, but with time, dedication, a good team and love for them it is possible. The results in my breeding program is evident in their healthy growth and multiplication.
Soon my California ranch did not have the space for all the new members of the family. A move was necessary. Instead of choosing a larger ranch in the California area, I instead made the decision to seek out better land, were the horses could grace feed and have more land where they could run free. Through research, I found Texas to be a perfect fit. Texas has a more moderate climate. Since we have been here in Texas, my mares are more relaxed.
I got together with my Vet and a nutritionist and created, G Mix. It is a proprietary well balanced grain that gives them the nutrition and minerals they need. The move proved to be fruitful as my andalusian population has increased. Our breeding is at 90% percent since settling in our new ranch. I now truly feel at home since my boys and I have found a place that suits all our needs and our horses have the space and conditions to grow to full potential.
